The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, October 20 reveals Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will come through for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will plead with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Plus, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will encourage Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to come to London with him to see Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).
Y&R spoilers tease Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will learn that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) was in Sharon’s cottage. And she’ll be shocked when her mom says she agreed to be his therapist. “Why does it have to be you?” Mariah will ask. Sharon will say her mind has been made up.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Cane Doesn’t Want To Leave Lily But Needs To See Jill
Then Nick will arrive and tell them Matt is safely put away. Sharon will tell Nick Mariah doesn’t think she should be working with Matt. Nick will say he agrees with her. “Well it’s not your decision,” Sharon will reply. Mariah will ask her mom to sleep on it and she’ll leave. Nick will beg Sharon to break ties with Matt. “Because if you get to forget about him then I get to forget about him.”
Meanwhile, Billy and Cane will talk to Snapper. “Heart attack?” Billy will say. Cane will ask if it’s something Jill can recover from. “Or should we say our goodbyes?” Billy will add. Then he’ll get a call from Adam and decline it. Cane will tell Billy they don’t don’t what’s going to happen next and he’ll ask Snapper to put the phone to Jill’s ear.
He’ll tell her the wedding was beautiful and to follow the doctor’s orders. “We love you.” Billy and Cane will hang up with Snapper and he’ll see Adam’s calling. Again, Billy will decline it. Cane will say he’s going to London, tonight. He wants to be with Jill. “Come with me.”
Billy will remind Cane he just got married. “I know,” he’ll reply. “But Jill…” Billy will realize Jill could die. Then he’ll talk about how he didn’t get time to say goodbye to his dad. “I missed the window.” Cane will say he can go be with Jill. “But I’m not you, I’m not her son, so you’re gonna have to make that call.” Billy will say they should go find Sally, she’ll know what to do.
At the Jazz Club, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will mention she’s waiting for the other shoe to drop. There’s always drama at these gatherings. Billy will walk downstairs and tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) Jill’s not doing well at all. Then Jack will update his sisters and wife.
Cane will tell Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) what’s going on. He’ll say he wants to go be with Jill in London but doesn’t want to leave her. Lily will tell him to go. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will approach and ask if anyone has spoken to Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman).
Young And The Restless Scoop – Adam Looks Forlorn As Billy Meets His Child
Billy will ask Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) where Sally is, she’ll tell him she’s upstairs, but not to go up there, his wife is planning a surprise. But he’ll tell tell Audra it can’t wait, and he’ll walk upstairs. However, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will delay him. She’ll ask if he’s seen Adam. He’ll say no and tell her he needs to see Sally.
Upstairs in Sally’s suite, Adam will offer to go get Billy, but Sally will cry out in pain and tell him it’s happening really fast. She doesn’t think she has time to get to the hospital. “The baby’s coming,” Sally will tell Adam, whimpering. “The baby’s coming now.”
He’ll decide to call Chelsea but his phone will be dead. Adam will tell Sally he’s just going to run downstairs. However, she’ll beg him not to leave her. Sally will ask if he’s done this before and he’ll tell her he’s delivered two babies.
Adam will tell Sally to push, he can see the baby’s head. So she will. Adam will smile, as he holds the child, and it’ll start crying. He’ll clean the baby up and tell her she’s a perfect baby girl. Then he’ll give her to Sally and they’ll both be crying.
The writers have brilliantly weaponize the unresolved history of Adam and Sally’s past loss, by forcing Adam to deliver his bitter rival’s child while Billy remains completely distracted by a sudden family crisis. This could instantly put his fragile new family on an explosive collision course with destiny.
Finally, Sally will say Billy should be there and she’ll ask Adam to go get him. Billy will be knock on the door and he’ll be surprised when Adam opens it. “Come meet your daughter,” Sally will say from the bed. Billy will rush over and meet her, as Adam looks forlorn.
